Hi all.. well, this morning I decided to go out and just run, taking it very slowly (trying to keep to 'able to speak' breathing, although nobody to speak to so I couldn't test that!) and seeing how I felt when it came to distance - ended up doing 6 miles! :j Included 1 mile that was entirely uphill (and bloomin steep - have walked up that road before but forgot how long and steep it was ) and a mile or so across the edge of the moors where it was seriously damp and windy.
Took me 1 hr 18 mins, so certainly not fast but really really pleased with the distanceDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Well done squizz! Pania and I join you in the 6 milers today - managed to get round in 1 hr 11 mins 27 seconds. It was "undulating" to say the least which took us a bit by surprise, but we have arranged to do the same run on Tuesday evening to see if we can get it a little quicker.
We managed to hold conversation all the way round so quite pleased really - means that we should either be able to go quicker, or plod for longer!

I'm just looking at an ordnance survey map online trying to work out how steep that big hill actually was, but have realised that I have forgotten what they measure height in on those maps - metres? feet? Whatever it is, there are ten of them between each line and there are twelve lines on that road, so I went up 120 somethings in a mile!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

do we start a part 2 or keep it here until we're officially closed? there is a wealth of info and training here it would be a shame to start again. what do you guys think?
