Well done Red it's lovely when you start seeing good results of all your hard work, I'm not going to weigh myself until the end of my challenge but I managed to fit into a pair of trousers today that I haven't worn for ages!
Off on a 3 miler this evening, brrrrr but at least it's not raining.0 -

It seems to me that it is a not bad thing then. It will give your knee more time to recover.“The primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation but your thoughts about it.” Eckhart Tolle0

No its a good thing in a way Chris just very down about it all. Not sure what the knee thing is all about. I had to run from car to tesco this morning (whilst I left DD covered in sick in the car) and it was so painful.
Must buy some sorbathane thingys this weekI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

There was some nice heavy thighs today after yesterday's intervals which shows they were done plenty hard enough.
Considering the heaviness and the fact that, as a result, the effort level had to be kept low it was a little surprising to see the fastest 10K so far - certainly another encouraging sign.Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

Hurray, hubby having kids for an hour tonight and he's agreed to bring them to the reservoir to play on the 'beach' (very generous description) so I can go running (it will be too dark at 6pm to be there alone).
I'm still managing two runs a week, albeit only 5k each, but I'm quite proud of that in the circumstances."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Hope the knee soon gets better Sally.
Rest is often the best cure. However a medical opinion would be approprate if it seems as if it is going to be prolonged“The primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation but your thoughts about it.” Eckhart Tolle0 -
