Morning all, I'm back :j Had a lovely relaxing couple of days, no running but two good long walks in the country, and lots of healthy food :A

Well done to those who've managed to run and hugs to those who've had not so good weekends...

Can't decide whether to run today or just do some vigorous housework.. I know which one my flat needs... :o

You could run round your flat whilst vigorously cleaning ;)

I went this morning at 6am, did 3 miles in 30 mins and really, really struggled. Legs felt very heavy and had to walk 3 times - think we were recovering from Sunday's long run - going to leave it until tomorrow night and will tackle it with fresh legs. Don't think my run was helped by the fact that I woke up thinking there had been an air raid siren - and it was DH blowing his nose :rotfl:
  • Well done BA - its horrible when you have a bad run, I am going out tonight just for a few miles then tomorrow with the club, where we will probably fo 6 or 7 in the rain no doubt

I think I'm going to leave the running for today (although, yep, there has been/ will be plenty of it around the flat and out to the bin.. you know when you start something then wish you hadn't...).. may have a go at the early morning runs this week, apparently it's good for you to kick start your metabolism first thing...

ps foot patches arrived today BA, thankyou so much! Will try them out tonight :)

Try not to be so hard on yourselves girls.

We have jobs, commitments, relationships and other interests.

Lets avoid running becoming another "should", another pressure.

    Above all lets enjoy it.
