Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
    Morning all,

I did my Race For Life on Wednesday night, we actually had clear skies and sunshine! I completed in 32 mins, so beat my personal best of 37. Was really pleased, plus cycled to and from the event.

I was going to run this morning but fell over in the staff canteen yesterday and twisted my ankle :o will need to rest up for a couple of days.

By the way, is anyone else finding their appetite getting bigger with doing more running? Suppose it's natural when you start exercising more, and it will get burnt off but I seem to be constantly hungry! Feel quite bloated as well, possibly doesn't help that a lot of my diet is cheap white bread, white rice and pasta (why are 'refined' white things so much cheaper?).. I think I need to invest in some brown rice and have a bit of a detox next week.. My other aim for next week is to start doing some sit ups and pilates or something similar.. was it someone on here who said they'd been sitting on one of those gym balls and it was really good for stomach muscles? Can anyone tell my stomach is my current pet hate? :o

Gym balls are fantastic RSQ! they are really quite cheap now to. Imagine one of the space hoppers you had as a kid (and if you didn't OOOOOHHHH you missed out big time kiddo!) without the ears and thats a gym ball.

    You can:-
    1) sit on them when your boyf spreadeagles across the entire sofa
    2) Chuck em at him post quarrell, ok i joke

    1) lean back on them trying to keep yourself stable while doing fly's with 2 cans of beans,
    2) put your legs up on em to do sit ups,
    3) grip them between your ankles while lying on your back, lift your legs vertical and lower them slowly to the floor without dropping the ball (kills stomach muscles!)
    4) use as a medicine bally thingy, half sit up, hold position while touching ground either side of you with the ball ten times.
    5) and the one with the highest embarrasment potential, roll across it on your front until ball is level with your knees and use for press ups, just be careful not to fall off!!!

I've got one and i love it, cripes is P-ing down here, office window open and all my paperwork is getting wet!! Must dash.

    Hi doll!

Well, I'm pleased to report that I've danced my booty off this week so I'm not afraid of your Big Bad Challenge! Aiming for another three classes next week and will each of my 10,000 steps count as a challenge too? I've exceeded them every day this week (ooh, feels so smug!).

    Jazz hands, y'all! :j
