Stop flirting please  Glad you enjoyed your run P, must PM you soon, but like you mine get lost - maybe email is better

Well done Redquirrel on going out for a run, once you're out there it's ok isn't it, it's just the getting there! You reminded me I missed Gordon :( I went and tried a Pilates class and am now sitting very straight as if I have a pole down me back  Am in work today with foot patches so they will be swinging their way over to you.

Evab - nice hot bath and stopped walking like a cowboy :rotfl:

Sorry about your race Kazl, just think though you can practise even more!

I did my run this morning - stupid 5.45am - but it's nice as there's very few people about - we did about 3 miles fairly quick, only hazard this morning was crossing a train track and having to wait for a train to pass before we did - it was a legitimate way across but was only a tiny path so quite scared - we screamed (of course!) :D what else do you expect from girls :o
  • Well done BA - Screaming at a train - whatever next  :D

Running tonight at 1745hrs, onyl for 45 minutes though as we have a running meeting,AGM I think

Morning all.. hehe BA just reading that has made me sit up straight and pull my stomach in :p

Feel a bit stiff this morning (ooh err).. not sure if it's the running or too much sitting about! Sorry to hear about your iPod Pania.. think my mobile has succumbed to a similar fate as the screen has gone all funny this morning, it has got damp quite a few times over the last few months. Either that or it's just knackered but I've only had it since Christmas  Had to run about looking for my old one and put credit on that, not impressed if I have to buy a new one (old one is barely hanging together and is on network that costs me a fortune to phone anyone I know!). Oh and in the process of rushing about managed to knock a plant off the windowsill... then I tried to iron some trousers and melted them... grrrr

Looking forward to the calming foot patches! :D

aw thats a shame kazl - was it in a flooded area or is it the typical British attitude of 'lets close and cancel everything if there's a bit of rain/snow/wind'?

    It was flooded.

Not sure thats a good thing! After managing to transfer my entry to the race on sunday week I suddenly realised that meant I had to carry on running for another couple of weeks

I went to the running club last night and we did about 10 miles.

A bit stiff this morning but it was good.

Ok hows this for an idea. I'll send a £5 tesco voucer for a bottle of wine to the person who logs the most runs over the next two weeks. (and i know you all are very reliable and won't tell porkies!!) Very DFW for you guys not so much for me he he!!

so, at the end of each post, in the right hand corner put a number of how many runs you've completed for me and i'll keep track.

Morning all.. did about 3 miles last night.. felt great (and slept quite well), but legs hurt this morning, though that may be the unsuitably high heels I've got on for going out later :p

So we're doing number of runs? I'm in, if only to make the rest of you feel incredibly virtuous :rotfl:

Hi Folks, I've been following this thread from the beginning and , whilst I've not yet taken the plunge, am enjoying reading all about your running experiences. Anyways, main reason for posting is that I've seen another thread about running on the Health and Beauty board and thought that one of you might like to have a look and let the OP of that post know about this thread? they might like to join in?!!
