    Im back

Not good coach...I only did 8.4 miles whoops! It was foul and its official I am now to be known as Poola (sorry tmi) I was so windy I could barely run at some points, the rain was lashing down and dreched every article of clothing I had on. Got the runners tummy but glad I am now back home :)
And now I am watching the GNR and wishing I had more will power to keep going when it gets tough and wishing I was there in the sun!

Go snaggles Go thats fantastic to get to 4 miles so quickly

8.4 miles, whether it was in foul conditions or not, is still going to bring you a nice training effect.

Earlier in the week I dropped out of a 10K run at the 2 miles mark because the legs were feeling a bit heavy.

So 8.4 miles is just fine - remember the purpose of each run. This one was not a test of will power, you only test that in races and initially getting out of the door!

If you'd set off to do 8.4 you'd be really proud of yourself now - so be proud of yourself!!!!

Now get your feet up with a nice cup of coffee and thaw out!

    Helllooooooo

    I'm back!!!

Good news - I did 10 miles (sorry Sally, but its wet here but not too bad)

Bad news - didnt quite do it in the time I wanted... :( I set myself 1:40 but did it in 1:45, so not too far off - coach is that okay considering my aiming time? It seems pretty slow, but it is wet and I am now drenched... (thats my excuse anyway).

    Done my stretching as advised!

Oh get you lot - Sammy doing GNR, Snags doing 4 miles - I told you its addictive!!!

Oh we already have the venue for our xmas party - we get the afternoon off and go to a swanky hotel and its all paid for - cool huh!

Thank you, and yes you are right again. If I had set off to do 8 miles I would have been happy with that run.

Also I had a look at my mile times and considering the weather I am pleased with them

You're heading for a telling off if you keep being disappointed with times when they're not important! :p

But you're not disappointed of course - you've just set off to achieve a new milestone ......and achieved it! Wowee!

I remember you asking how can you break through the 6 mile distance because it seems to be a barrier - well, that's how, you've done it!!!!

And stretching as well, how long will this good behaviour last?
