you go for that glass of wine there kazl think you deserve it, and moan away, it's no worries at all. Thats really bad news but yes as you said you'll be better off in the long run through work. try to keep smiling, now go get that glass of wine.

Redsquirrel fantastic on the run there good for you. went for a plod with the pony it was nice. ran occasionally and walked to. Sympathise over the lack of sleep, it isn't nice and as you said yes things do get kinda magnified in the middle of the night. If you ever need a good ol rant just pm me no worries.

    P
    xx

Thanks a lot.. you may regret that though, once I get started I may never shut up :rotfl:

Kazl, that must be really frustrating, hope it balances out with the payrise. Know the feeling - got my yearly payrise this month and the difference has more or less disappeared between tax and increased student loan payments... although at the rate I'm paying mine off I'll be about 85 before it's all gone :rotfl:

    Evening

Just returned from a 3 mile run round the local country park - we hit a hill straight away which took us 13 minutes to tackle  but we kept on going and then enjoyed the run down the hill on the way back :D

Off for a nice bath now.

Well done to everyone who has run and those who haven't, don't punish yourselves, you are allowed a day off otherwise you would stop enjoying it.

Tip - I find I run better when I have had a row with DH. Me and friend had both had rows with respective DH's and therefore triumphed in our run :rotfl:

hiya BA, wondered where you'd gone. off to bathland myself, have a chat later? sadly can't use your tip, oh refuses to run further than the length of a cricket pitch!! Glad you've had a good day.:T

Redsquirrel, don't worry about that, am just as bad. poor BA copped an earful of me venting some steam yesterday so i'm due some in return.:rotfl:

now, wheres cnoelj and bobble and sea 78 and findingmyownway and minnie lurking? how has your day been guys? ;)

I meant "row" with DH not run :rotfl: I wrote such a long PM to you, did you get it or did it get lost?

Hope you are feeling better now x

Kazl - that is rubbish about tax credits, we are getting zilch now as well, they seem to cut it off when you need it the most

Red - isn't it just rubbish when you starting brewing things over in your mind, things always seem worse at night as well - hope your run has done the trick and you go sound asleep tonight. I could send you some of my foot patches if you like - I have a few left over and they really gave me restful sleep even when I was stressed.

Am bit stressed now, Dh is being arsey about money again  . Apparently I am only with him to bleed him dry  despite me being the highest wage earner until the last 12 months. All this because I reminded him we were on a budget and spending £90 at the garden centre was not consistent with being on a budget. Off to sulk now - hate arguments - always turns it back on me - I must learn to do that!

Here's hoping BA.. I'm yawning away at the moment but don't want to go to bed too early just in case... what are foot patches? well, obviously patches you put on your feet but how do they help you sleep?

If arguing with your OH makes for a good run, I should be doing a high speed marathon about once a fortnight... Me and mine have totally separate finances, though somehow he manages to encourage me to spend more than I should then make me feel bad when he's spent more than he should cos we've been out or away for the weekend! Can't complain too much though, I'd have starved this month if it wasn't for him... :o

They are detox patches you put on the base of your feet and turn horrible ganky (is that a word?!?) overnight as your toxins come out. I am normally asleep within minutes :D If you want to try a couple give me a shout.

Don't you just hate arguments about money as well  it seems that since I have faced up to the debt and decided to do something about it, he has decided to revolt and fight me, like a punishment. It's not like I spent the money alone  Mood also not helped by fact I went out with friend today (she has terminal cancer) and we were out shopping and saw a group of really decent looking teenagers, the type you would want your children to grow up etc, until i heard them making really cruel remarks about her wearing a head scarf     (which incidentally was gorgeous and she looks fab in it). It is so obvious she has cancer - how can people be so cruel. Fortunately she had wandered off, I embarrassed them with a few choice words - began with f of course! I just don't get it.

    Rant over......feel better now.......thanks x

Oh yeah, I've seen the adverts for them.. I dread to think what'll come out but would love to try, really kind of you, I'll drop you a PM.

Must be a nightmare when you're trying to sort things out and he's not helping, fingers crossed he comes to his senses soon! I've decided to be really tough for the next few months - if we're going out I'm only taking so much money and no cards, so I can't do that (usually tipsy) thing where I go "oh yes I'll just go and take some more out so we can have some more drinks/ go for dinner... etc... etc...."

Some teenagers are just horrible.. glad you gave them a piece of your mind

Men are all alike aren't they, i'm in your situation red, seperate finances, he spends his by the 10th of each month on nothing, choosing to lie to me about paying the "threat of legal action on your credit card" bill he had, til another letter dropped on the mat this morning, christ i went absolutely bolo!! then i have to give him petrol money and be made to feel guilty if we can't go out every friday!! GAH!!! Same with you BA, you've done so much for your finances you deserve praise, but atleast you ran like forest!!!

BA gave me the hint about the foot patches when i couldn't sleep, they work wonders!! and eeeewwww to what comes out!

right will send you message in a sec BA just need to dry hair first and put his dinner in the oven for when he gets in. Speak shortly!!
