  • Hi FMW, you sound like you are doing brilliantly and putting everyone's needs before yourself - at least by running you are getting some time to yourself, I think it really helps clear your head and you can come home and tackle more (in my case argument with DH  )

And moan ahead, we're just normal people after all - as well as hardworking DFW  I am a great believer in it is better out than in.

Good luck with the race on Sunday, let us know how you get on

OK - I'll post up some more details either tonight or over the weekend - you'll probably look and think I have a really boring diet! :D On the plus side, it does make 'extra nice' meals/ meals out seem like a real treat now.

FMOW - that must be a really stressful time, sure it will settle with time :)

BA - have PMed you (I think - first one I've sent on here!).. well done on the weight loss and the thighs! I think I might buy some scales this weekend...

Thank you so much.. if anything can make me fall asleep within a few minutes, it'll be a miracle! Looking forward to trying them out... :)

  • Do you need to share your alcohol problems with us SW :rotfl:
  • i have a problem with alcohol.... that i'm not allowed to drink it at work hehe
  • Seriously though, I cant drink Jack Daniels anymore, it makes me sleep walk.

I once went downstairs, completely moved all the furniture around and re-organised it all so telly was in wrong corner, unplugged it all and everything, woke up next morning and didnt know anything about it until wife went downstairs - hee hee.

Also slept in the bath after having a night out on JD, strictly a pint man now or a glass of wine.

Right - Im totally losing it now, I have just entered the Chedder Half Marathon in November

:D Ooh god, that's reminded me of drinking a whole (small) bottle of Southern Comfort when I was about 17.. blaaah I was so ill.. especially when my mate decided that I needed to eat to soak up the alcohol and fed me veg stir fry... couldn't touch Southern Comfort or baby sweetcorn for years... :o

  • ooh alcohol - I remember an addiction (of sorts  ) to Tia Maria - until I went on a girls holiday and I started smelling of it  It was coming out of the pores in my skin.

The worst story I have re alcohol is getting leathered with my very respectable and nice friend, we stayed at another friend's flat at University - and my nice and respectable friend thought the bath was the toilet and did a number 2 in there.......and then went back to bed leaving our poor friend to clean it up in the morning :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Our other friend still doesn't know it was her - I bribe her very successfully with it :D
