Morning Campers how is everyone this morning?? Its a beautiful Autumn morning here, sun is out, sky is blue and there is a chill in the air (lets hope its like this on Sunday)

Is anyone else more productive when its a nice day? Ive already done 3 loads of washing and now about to blitz the house and await my Nike + from Amazon :)

  • Morning, 'orrible people!

It grey and grim here - maybe you get what you deserve, eh?

Sally, you should be getting someone lined up to give you a good massage today and tomorrow if you've got anyone on hand.

PS Who's been in overnight and nicked my smilies?

    Morning,

Well all's well here, the swim last night loosened up my legs slightly, so feeling good for a 6 or 7 mile run at lunch...Not sure where I'm going, but a good chance to try out the navigation features of the garmin, methinks :)

It looks like an exetended lunch, or an extended extended lunch if the navigation features don't work! :p

Ha! That's certainly a concern, yeah...guess there's only one way to find out though :)
  • I get the feeling that the site is creaking!

Smilies keep disappearing and I couldn't get on when I first tried this morning. Considering a lot of the normal bods aren't here they may be having the same problem.

Which just goes to show theres always a silver lining and all that.......

My first name *is* actually Idiop, but people get confused, so I have them call me "He that is all that great and good" instead. You know, saves confushion :D

Anyway, just got back from the pool a while ago, 2k swim. Think I'll try a 10k run in the morning if I feel up for it, maybe a little further with any luck.

Just out of curiosity, Red, were you planning on walking half/running half? Just wondering as if you did 50/50 running/walking and did it in 15 minutes, you must've been running fairly swiftly in the running bits?

Err, to be honest the 'plan' as far as I had one was to run as much as I could and walk when I get out of breath. I do walk pretty fast though ;)

    Enjoy your lunchtime run!

Rich or Steve (now which would you prefer??)
sending you some of my lovely sunshine and just looked at the forecast for sunday and bizarely last night it said sunny and 18, this morning it says rain. Wish they would make their minds up. In fact on the BBC they say its supposed to be pouring here this morning and it couldn't be further from it, not a cloud in the sky :)

Its arrived anyway :D now I just have to put my technical hat on and try and work the dam thing out!

Wonder if its too late to book a sports massage?? Will be back!

    Awww, thanks!

Sunday is 16C and cloudy in Bristol according to two sites I've just looked at (how many times do weather forecasts agree?).

Name wise, call me anything - I'm the only Rich around and the only Steve around at the moment. Having 2 names may come in useful once my Schizophrenia kicks in! lol

As far as the massage is concerned - I'm on my way........................

Morning all, just checking in. I'm well impressed with your regimen Idio, don't forget to put in a few rest/easy days as well. How long is it since you started your new healthy lifestyle now? I'd expect the clothes are fitting a bit better already the way you're going?!

Good effort everyone else that got out there yesterday and this morning. Had a late night so literally had to force myself up to do my normal 6k. I'm really going to have to register for another race soon to keep the motivation up I think!
