  • I know squizzers' real name... i am honoured!

I really am called Maz to all intents and purposes, Marion actually, but the only people that call me that are family and my work colleagues....

When i went swimming for the first time there was another marion there so i got trainer to call me maz.. made me feel very at ease....

MAZ is also my number plate, yep, classy eh!!

Swimming was good tonight, i was practising my front crawl again, not great again but am just going to keep at it for another week to see if i can improve it.... then going to work on my breast stroke which is not bad but could use some work......

Steve... hmmmn interesting. i never spotted that!

  • I've been looking on Runners World web site to look for other races, there are quite a few here so will chose one, I think it will be the 10k starting on the beach, hope they will except lil ol walker like me, I can always pretend to run at 1st:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I need to get myself a race to train for... there aren't that many in scotland in general (well there are loads but they are all in the next 4-5 weeks and i need longer)

My first name *is* actually Idiop, but people get confused, so I have them call me "He that is all that great and good" instead. You know, saves confushion :D

Anyway, just got back from the pool a while ago, 2k swim. Think I'll try a 10k run in the morning if I feel up for it, maybe a little further with any luck.

Just out of curiosity, Red, were you planning on walking half/running half? Just wondering as if you did 50/50 running/walking and did it in 15 minutes, you must've been running fairly swiftly in the running bits?
  • 2k swim!!! oh my goodness! that seems like a lot!! wow!

SueUU - thanks for the shewee tip... i can't see me taking it around with me, nowhere to store it while running.... last night i had to run with my car keys tucked down inside my bra..... i was worried they might be a bit damp and not open the remote locking afterwards but they were fine, lol!!!

Maz, you don't need to take it home with you. Do the same as what happens if you go behind a bush, empty it out and stuff it in a plastic bag to take home.;) Edit. There are ones where you can use it as though it was similar to a fella's, so you do it and leave it exactly as they do! Picture them and you have the idea? a sort of extension!:rotfl:

Another great and brisky walk today, broke into running several times and got on quite well. Quite chuffed with myself too. Look out London!

I'll try and find a link for it Maz.

Re the UU part, forget it please. That's why I always sign off as Sue as it's what I prefer any day. Glad you had a good swim, stick with the crawl, it's not easy but, if you persevere........

    Goodnight.

Have a look at this Maz, this is exactly what I mean and is good, so long as you practice a bit first!:D Have a look at reviews about it first.

PS. I'm not having any joy with the link above so try this http://shop.packyourbags.com/acatalog/Shewee_Ladies_Wee_Funnel.html

    Good luck.
