I've just run 10k for the first time in ages. The first half was horrible but thankfully it got better as I went through. Think I'm really going to struggle in the Mid Oct half marathon though. I really had intended to do a lot more training but I've just been very lazy (and busy but mostly lazy).MFi3 member 105 - MFW date Oct 2023 - 12 years 9 months more0

Hiya,
What race is in October? Everyone gets lazy when a race seems a fair way off.
Except on here that is, because people remind you.
Whats your thoughts for the next month then, up to the race?Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

Its getting a little confusing for my limited brain capabilities to keep track of who's planning to do what in terms of races. And since the number of people seems to be expanding like an American's waistline I think it is probably a good idea to keep a running schedule with outline plans and then, as specific races are entered, updated accordingly. So far:
2008
Sept
Sept 14th Bristol 1/2 Marathon Sally
Sept 21st Swansea 10k Idiophreak
Sept 28th Hampton Court 10k Angela
Sept 28th Sandringham 10k Jennyred
Oct
Oct 14th Weymouth 10miles Herewegoagain
Nov
Novemb 5k race (TBA) Redsquizzer
Dec
2009
Jan
Jan 10th Disneyworld 1/2 Marathon Boomdocker
Jan/Feb 10k race (TBA) Redsquizzer
Jan/Feb 1/2 marathon (TBA) Beinerts
Feb
March
April
April 19th The Bungay 'Black Dog' Half Marathon Hypno06
April 19th The Bungay 'Black Dog' Marathon Yoxford2008
April 26th THE LONDON MARATHON Herewegoagain, Hypno06, Sally
April 26th Sheffield 1/2 Marathon Redsquizzer
May
May 31st Edinburgh Marathon Redsquizzer
June
July
August
Aug Marathon race (TBA) Rich (Steve) (Berlin or Mablethorpe possibles)
Sept
Oct
Oct Great North Run Rich (Steve)
Nov
Nov New York City Marathon Sally
Now everyone has got some sort of plan, however vague, so lets get them all in one place and keep the list updated and then we know what we've got to look forward to! So come on, throw your plans at me.........Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j

His name probably isn't Richard, we just call him rich because of his username. Then again, it might be richard, in a double-bluff kind of way!
