Do you think he'll notice if you're not there? You can always watch the video afterwards and pretend you were there. ;)

  • i went out tonight :j for the first time in about a year and a half :o

ran to the park, around and back. went out a bit too soon after tea so ended up with a stitch which wasnt great, and i was so shattered when i got in that i forgot to cool down  so i ache something lovely now and probably won't be able to walk tomorrow  think my legs are in shock at my sudden energetic outburst :D psychologically though i feel great for having broken that barrier and getting out there, as im not used to runnning solo and my runchum is otherwise engaged at the mo. first time is always the worst so hopefully my mp3 player and i will be pounding the streets again in the not too distant future :j

Yay Pavlov.... well done on getting out there....... it has been a fabby day all round....!!

Rich, what did you do today? or are you resting?
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

Oh Maz!! I was trying to stay below the radar and bask in the glory of you lot! :p

I made it to 23:17 before getting rumbled - not bad really!

So yes, rest day today - but it followed 9 consecutive training days so it was very appropriate!

  • Well, there seems to be a head of steam building. When we get organised we need to keep a running totals of miles logged by the forum - I think it might get quite impressive!

Well a running friend on another thread has been telling me to get my backside in gear and start running again. I told her that I will go for a run tomorrow evening after work and that I would post the intention here. That would commiit me.

For those of you who dont know my mum passed away a month or so ago. so running has taken a back seat. My friend tells me that I will feel much better after a run and I know that she is absolutely right.

So look here tomorrow - I have just noticed the time -look here later for a report on my run.

Thanks to Maz for her encouragement too!

Hey you! nice to see you.....

Well as you can see the thread has grown arms and legs and we are going strong!!

We have some new recruits who are very much part of the furniture already but we miss you, jelly babies, southwester et al... so it's good to have you back!

You can catch up with what we're up to later on, just get your first run under your belt.

How far do you intend to run? knowing you i guess you're going in for 6-10 miles!
