Loads of happy people like Maz and Hypno who've got good runs in.

Talking of which, you've got a jumping man - does this mean you've got happier news?

  • Hello all. Can I share my disappointment here that what with the debt crisis and everything (cost of transport/accom) not to mention the time it's taking out of training hours to get us out of a hole, I've decided not to run the marathon I planned in October :( . I'm disappointed and feel a bit of a failure, but I'll keep running anyway.... :o

    FMN x

Hi FMN... i'm so sorry you've had to make this hard decision.... i started a long post about it but my laptop decided to install some updates and i lost the post....

i wondered if you might want to share with us some of the details and maybe we can see a work around.........

    Where is the marathon?
Where (roughly) do you live? - is it miles and miles?
Are you running for a charity? are you sponsored?
Is there anyway any remaining sponsors could be used to fund the costs of the marathon...... or could you get a one off sponsor to meet the costs...

sometimes it helps to out it down here and see if the answer appears... it happens to me all the time.......
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....
    (it's part of my charm!)

i went out tonight :j for the first time in about a year and a half :o

ran to the park, around and back. went out a bit too soon after tea so ended up with a stitch which wasnt great, and i was so shattered when i got in that i forgot to cool down  so i ache something lovely now and probably won't be able to walk tomorrow  think my legs are in shock at my sudden energetic outburst :D psychologically though i feel great for having broken that barrier and getting out there, as im not used to runnning solo and my runchum is otherwise engaged at the mo. first time is always the worst so hopefully my mp3 player and i will be pounding the streets again in the not too distant future :j
