Thanks IA. Not sure I could walk it either
Knee was painful just walking to work this morning, going to see the physio again and see what she says. Cannot believe how downhill things have gone in the space of a month - 26.2 miles - nothing

Good luck for tonight IA, well done Jamtart and welcome Lucifa. And Maz, maybe you could run alone some of the time and just go with your friend when she can manage it? JB, sorry to hear about the knee - am sure you'll get back to fitness, it might just take some time.
Still doing 5-7 miles most days here, planning a 12 miler for the weekend (trying for 'race pace' so will be interesting to see how long that takes me). Next weekend my Moonwalk partner is coming to visit and we're doing our pre-race 20 mile walk, got the route all planned outJust over 4 weeks to go now, have been training (seriously) since the start of Feb so it feels quite strange to be at this stage.. am just a little tiny bit proud of myself that I've stuck to it, I'm not the best at perseverance
.. but have to say that 'reporting back' on here definitely helps! Am really looking forward to the walk but also looking forward to getting back into running afterwards - have signed up for the Great Yorkshire Run (10k) in Sept - after a nice little rest of course!

Thanks guys, i know that's what i have to do, i.e. get out on my own. And i will do it, after all runchum goes away for 2 weeks on honeymoon and i'll need to keep my training up myself as RFL is 2 weeks after her return.....
come to think of it, with a wedding in 10 days, it's a wonder she can be bothered to come running at all!!
And I think my brain would quite like peace and quiet and time alone to run...
redquirrel, i know what you mean about reporting back here keeping you motivated. (shame it doesn't work with lunch loggin for me now! i've so fallen off the wagon on that thread!!)
Hi to lucifa!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Thanks for the welcome.
The big plan at the moment is to keep pushing to get rid of the debt (about £7/8k - need to review and update my totals (added to a long to do list!) and keep taining to get rid of 2stone of flab that has crept on from nowhere since I got married!
When I signed up for next week's race there was an early bird deal of £10 off if I signed for a second race in September so, ever a sucker for a bargain and thinking it would make me stick at it, I signed up for both:eek:
Currently running between 3km and 7km (what's that in miles?) 3 or 4 nights a week but no real science to it. How do I up my distance and speed? Currently clearing 3km in about 20mins with a little bit of walking and 7km in about 50mins...26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Just got back from my run and the first thing I had to do was log on... I really pushed myself today and did 3.3m!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1.8 miles first go round and then stopped for a stretch.. would've normally gone home at this point but thought fook it.. my 'runchum' (I love that phrase lol) went home and went around for another 'short circuit' as we call it...
total distance 3.3m or 5.3k!!!!!!!!! I'm FOOKED! I ran the last half a mile without stopping as well.... SOOOO please with myself. Took about an hour but that included the break of about 5-10 mins. Really feeling like my target of 45mins for the 5k is achieveable now...
Best go for a bath... I stink!! Lol!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
