Went to the club tonight and did a very hilly eight miles in and around Trent Park in 1hour and 5mins so I am pleased.“The primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation but your thoughts about it.” Eckhart Tolle0

Nah, I think you deserve a break and there's no point in pushing yourself if you're not going to enjoy it.
As it was such a lovely evening I left work early and did an 8 mile walk before coming home.. was fantastic, felt like Spring out there :j
Wow! Well done Red!
And JB, you have a rest, you've so earned it and it's only been 10 days since FLM.
WEll folks.... be proud of me! I went out with my friend tonight and we did our run 2/walk 4 x 10 again tonight. We were in her village as opposed to mine so the route was different and a little hilly but we found it manageable.
The only problem was my breathing really, when i'm starting to puff i find i exhale hard but cannot inhale very deeply.... anyone got any advice on breathing.
These NB trainers are great, no cankle pain again, so may have deferred the expense of buying new shoes for a while!!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

Wow, I can't wait to be fit enough to run for 8 miles :j . Hope you enjoyed it, it was a beautiful evening.
Just got back from a work meeting (at the pub) but I did walk the 20 mins there and only had water so feeling very good!
Got to do another run tomorrow but think I will probably do it once DH gets home from work.
Maz, glad your run/walk went well todayI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Hey guys.. signing in
Went for a run this evening. Went a different way round and did really well! Was longer than our normal route but much hillier and we still managed to run more than usual. Took about 1/2 hr so quicker too
Feel really good and noticing that I'm able to do more now.

I'm not fit enough to run 8 miles yet either, am training for the Moonwalk so am 'power walking' at the moment (with the occasional jog)

Finished work an hour ago & thought I'd have another go at running, same route as yesterday. Didn't do too badly, I think I ran a little further than yesterday, but it's hard to tell, at the gym I can count the mins/secs.
My legs are aching now, I seem to be putting my feet down very hard,
unless it's just cos the pavement is a lot firmer than the treadmill!
Going to take the poochie to bed now, she's conked out on the floor. I don't think she can keep up with this running!
Night Morning all, catch up with you later.
