You are working hard RS well done.

I am keeping it all to a minimum at the moment. What isn't done now, isn't done. I will just do a couple of easy 4-5 milers next week and concentrate on resting and eating and hydratng well

    Evening all

RS - you're doing brilliantly, are you enjoying it as well? I find just being outside on my own really clears my head and makes me feel better

SW - what a lovely positive post, I will keep an eye out for your number in the red start. I'm sure you will be fine and will do it under 5 hours and with a huge sense of achievement :j

CJ - what has your taper been like? I did 6 miles on Sunday, cross training tuesday and going to do 6 miles tomorrow and 3 miles sometime next week. I now feel like I could barely run 2 miles though  not so sure I feel rested just a lazy, fat !!!!..........

Yep, it is really therapeutic (especially when it's sunny!)... enjoyed doing the long walk with my friend for company on Monday but I must admit I really do appreciate the time on my own.. sometimes it's good thinking time, and sometimes it's 'think about nothing' time! :)

I have just done a couple of 4-5 miles this week and the same next week. Seems like you are doing it about right JB. Everyone will do it slightly differently. It is just a case of keeping moving at the moment. Nothing more than that is needed or beneficial. I have been taking it easy and paying attention to running form and breathing etc. I have been making myself aware of any tension in my body and becoming conscious of relaxing any areas where it is necessary
