Yes you will have to take it cautiously at first.

    Hello everyone,

I'm still reading your progress as the marathon gets ever closer, well done everyone with getting out there!

I can just about walk everywhere at the mo, baby seems to be getting bigger by the hour. I'm definitely itching to get back out in the summer when the baby's born I expect I'll drop the weight quickly with two sprogs anyway.

    keep up the good work

You seem to be keeping positive SW. With running that is 90% of the battle won isn't it.

I am thinking I would like to incorporate some swimming into my training, particularly on an easy training day. But yes if I was forced into swimming because of an injury, I am sure I would be saying boring too.

Evab - best wishes and look after yourself.

Must dash there is a road out there beckoning me. It is about 8 miles long today.

  • Morning all - glad you are still upbeat SW and I agree re swimming.

I did some speed training yesterday, an hours of cross training today and then got a 5 miler tomorrow. Swimming on Saturday (DS's swimming lesson so can multi task) and 19 miles on Sunday    Am absolutely dreading Sunday but needs must I guess?

New trainers arrived and they have made a massive difference, really can tell that my others are pretty knackered. Ooops!!

    Morning all,
At last! Was able to have a plod and managed a very sweaty 1.9 miles walk run. No pain where stitches were so all good there. I dont know if people read Pania's thread but she's having problems with her eye and cant run for a bit which as I'm sure pepys will appreciate is frustrating & bringing ? over whether she can do the marathon so all hugs her way would be appreciated I'm sure....
Let us know how you get on with the run oday BA - any hints on the wtch would help! For some reason it didnt register todays run in todays date? ahhh I loathe technology that I dont "get"!!
