Nine times out of ten if I get a headache, I am dehydrated.

Oh that is when I haven't been drinking alcohol of course :rotfl: :rotfl:

Seriously though build up your carbs and ensure you are well hydrated and if you must listen to music while running make sure it is good :p

I am veggie as well P it does make it a bit more difficult.

My big drinking days are over. I sometimes go two or three weeks without a drink now. I am a CAMRA member so when I do have a drink I am very particular. May as well have something decent than most of the nonsense which is marketed to us.

  • Well done P for getting out there :j it feels so good doesn't it when you've had a break from it.

I wear a nice beanie to keep my ears warm re ear ache think and listen to better music :rotfl: Don't know about the silk feeling, maybe your body was just in shock :D

Had a rest since Sunday morning run, did pilates last night and then had to stop to be sick on the way home  very bizarre not sure what that was all about. Was particularly distressed as I had just bought a wispa - yes A WISPA!!!!! after many years of craving and was then too ill to eat it!

Off for a run tomorrow and then we are off to visit FIL next week in nice flat land. I am doing the half marathon with him next year so we are going to go running together. Not sure quite what we'll talk about for 90 mins of running but good DIL and FIL bonding time I guess

  • :hello: yes feeling much better, DH "perish the thought" was harbouring hopeful thoughts that there was going to be an addition to our family      Think it must have just been a bug though.

Off for a run tonight and see how I get on - re the whole Wispa thing, they were selling them in WH Smith for 62p   so I put it back and managed to find one for 45p instead - very DFW of me :)
