Can somebody tell me how to use http://www.flightstats.co.uk to find out more details about a delayed flight back in 2007?

I have registered but don't seem to find the historical search option.

    Thank you

If you have signed in to flightstats you only have to insert the route (airport to airport) or exact flight number or the departing or arrival airport to find the flight.

However, since you are posting on the flight delay compensation forum, you might like to bear in mind that claims for flight delay compensation are time barred after 6 years in Eng/Wales so you are out of time...
Thank you very much. I have managed to find my flight. I took off the date and just added the airline company plus the flight number.

    Thank you again!

But as Centipede states, if your flight was 2007 you are out of time. The airlne can lawfully ignore you since you can't take legal action.

How much would you like to wager that any claim with the airline for 2007 will be rejected or ignored :-)
  • Hi, this is my first time here on this forum. if any can help me in detail.

I Booked my flight through Chepoair website from LONDON - KARACHI
my original flight schedule was as follows.

    QR 0008 LONDON - DOHA 01:55 PM - 11: 35 PM
    QR 0318 DOHA - KARACHI 12:25 AM - 04:45 AM

While I was at Doha Airport Chepoair Sent me an e.mail saying that my flight to Karachi was reschedule due to misconnection ( I couldnt check my mail there at the airport and came to know about it when I was already in Karachi.

I was told by Airport staff that they are sending us to Dubai and then from there to Karachi on Emirates on the following Flights

    QR 104 DOHA - DUBAI 02:35 - 04:45
    EK 600 DUBAI - KARACHI 08:00 - 11-00

    I AM NOT SURE FOR 100% IT COULD BE EK 0606 09:50 - 12:50

please advise how to make a claim step by step (please) and would this EK 600 AND EK 0606 MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

I have Boarding Pass for LONDON DOHA AND DOHA DUBAI and also have the copy of my original E.TICKET (Booking confirmation)

The flight affected was wholly outside the EU and on a non-EU airline so EU compensation does not apply unless the reason you were rerouted was due to the late arrival of your flight from London. If the flight from London was delayed then you need to start with the FAQs on this thread

We encountered a five hour delay because our scheduled plane was used to resolve an earlier delay to another flight going to a different destination as the larger plane had a technical problem. Has anyone encountered a similar situation? Do you think this a valid reason for a compensation claim please?

    Thanks in anticipation

You'll find all you need in the FAQs.

If you need any specific advice on points not covered there, maybe add "please" to get posters on your side.

Probably but depends upon airline as well plus route. As David says read the FAQ's on the thread appropriate to your airline.

Jet 2 flight took off on time from manchester on 1st feb 2014 but after a hour and half had to return due to navigation system problem flew back to Leeds airport after circling in the air for approx another hour and half ,our first landing had to be aborted but our 2cd landed safely. Changed aircraft arrived in tenerife 6 hours late. Only offered a free hot drink. Can we make a claim?

I have now wrote to jet2 twice. Each reply is the same we can't have anything back. Do you think it's still worth perusing ? At least we got our holiday and arrived safely.
