Myself partner and child were delayed on a Monarch Flight on the 13th September 2012 due to a technical fault with the plane i submitted claim forms to Monarch on the 13th December 2012 and have today received an email back that our claim is successful :j€400 each and cheque is on it's way...
Flight was ZB648 Manchester toLarnaca 13/09/20120 -
We took off 3 hours 34 minutes late from manchester to hurghada on 20th December 2011 but don't know what time we landed in hurghada. Is there anywhere I can find out? It's not saying on flightstats.
Thanks0 -

I had no idea about our delayed arrival either. Leave that space blank or put 'not known'. They'll soon jump on it if the arrival was delayed less than 3 hours.I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too!0 -

You quite often make up time in the flight so don't be surprised if you end up short of the 3 hour arrival time needed.0 -

Make the claim and just put over 3 hours delay. They'll soon jump on you if it was short of 3 hours.0

Had an email from Easyjet in response to my letter claiming compensation. They said delay "due to a security alert that required our immediate attention" and that the aircraft had to be fully searched. Therefore this is outside of the scope of a claim.
Previously they sent an email stating " Regrettably this was due to an earlier incident affecting the routing of your aircraft".
How can I check out the genuine reason for the delay? They seem to have a compendium of reasons!0 -
I have an issue. Emirates have rejected my claim for delayed flight as
1. THere were exceptional circumstances of the flight delay as there was a last minute glitch on the plan
2. The ruling is for only EU based airlines and EMirates is not an EU based airline.
From the guide posted on the main site, it says that I may not be able to claim compensation but may be able to claim a refund. Would that be true for non EU airlines like emirates?
