  • Yes, I'm aware of that which is why I posted what I did in response to

OK. I see. I'm afraid that the onward flight was with Qatar.

So you are due €250 per passenger

Not according to BA. They say that I'm only due the refund of the ticket price (which I have received) because I didn't fly.

They are wrong it was more than a 5 hour delay. As i said read Vaubans guide and get the letter sent off. Stop doubting.

I have sent the letter off to BA. BA denied the claim. The next stage would be to go to CEDR. As CEDR have £25 charge for unsuccessful claims, and as I was told yesterday by the PACT at CAA that they supported BA's view, I'm not willing to proceed on the basis of a simple assurance. I need more (hence the reason for posting).

Suggest you consider a NWNF ie no risk.

I used a NNWF before. They were paid €500 on my behalf in August 2015. I have seen nothing of it and the NWNF does not respond to my mails.

Having said that, I would use a NWNF again but only if I established there was a risk to be taken. I'm not going to give up 1/3+ of my compensation for nothing. Hence the post.

I guess you might be talking about EuDelay lots of people have been ripped off by them. A lot of people on this site including me have used Bott & Co they have been leading the fight with the airlines very reputable and you shouldn't have any problem with them. Have you put your flight details into an online checker like Bottonline or EuClaim they will tell you if they think you have a claim then you will know pretty much for certain if you do have a claim. Or post your delayed flight details.

justice, this claim is slightly different as OP is seeking both refund and compensation, not just compensation. So the delay claim will probably be valid, as a standalone claim.
