they look lovely ill have to try making those as well
Twink i ve made 2 batches of your original ones Scrummy, 1 batch with cranberries in (i added 4oz) really nice i treid some with chopped dried apricots they werent too sucessful mainly becuase i overcooked them and the apricot went a bit dry (1/2 a batch of those was lost because i burned them so the birds got a treat i crumbled them in with the nuts and seed i put out)

Miniature Heroes Brownies? How Lush do they sound? Recipe anyone?I am going to try and have a baking evening tonight. Aswell as some Minature Heroes Brownies and some rolls for lunches I shall try your recipe Twink, as I love hobnobs. Has anyone tried melting chocolate on top a la McVities chocolate covered Hobnobs?"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

I'll type up the recipe when I get home from work if anyone wants it. It's from the Green and Blacks cookbook. They're called 'Celebration Brownies' and they use a different Celebration in each brownie, but as we have two boxes of heroes left over from Christmas I thought I'd use these instead. I've not tried this recipe yet but every other one in the book has been divine.0 -
glad everyone still likes the hobnobs, if i hadnt posted the recipe we would never have heard of anzacs
what a shame that would have been not
NemoToad i havent put on chocolate but it has been done0 -
I've just made twink's hobnobs for the first time and they were delish - so delish that i broke my cardinal rule for a tuesday night (pre sw weighin night) to NOT EAT ANYTHING FATTENING. Unfortunately, i am unable to stop at just eating one and so half of them have gone
the cat must have nicked them obviously;)
I shall try to resist making the coconut version at least for a few days:p So many recipes so little time:rotfl:
If the Anzacs are as yummy as the hobnobs I may as well give up now.:oProud to have dealt with my debts. Nerd number 288:j Debt free date Dec 07 :EasterBun

My DD is home, finally!, tomorrow night so we'll have a girly night in baking biscuits - she doesn't like coconut.... but I do, lots! So it looks like we'll have to have a contest
Thanks for the reminder that baking with daughters is brillIf you see me on here - shout at me to get off and go and get something useful done!!0
