yes I've used the golden syrup ones before - the recipe is very forgiving for the traybake version, I just reduce the sugar by "a little bit" and they still came out fab!

    That's great, thanks!

I bought a couple of boxes of Honey and Almond the other day so I will try those in a traybake.

Hi please can someone post the recipe for the hobnobs. I have no idea where to start looking, and they sound really jummy.

    many thanks

Think this is what you wanted:

I printed off a copy and put it into a 'plastic pocket' - goes great on my recipe book holder for when baking - or can be sellotaped inside a cupboard door ;).

It was 'lurking' in the Mega Recipe Index here - you'll find lots of fab recipes in there - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=8736367#post8736367

    they are fab!!!!!!!!
made 2 batches as christmas presents, so now sealed up in dowe eggbert jars and red ribbon round the sellotape, this year they have some ginger and cranberrys in them, everyone said they liked them last year!!!!

cant afford the wine i used to give, and if they dont like them well ..........................................

i found a lovely stamp in the stamper box saying i believe in angels, so used gold paint for that

and there was a handmade by stamp so i used that too,

Tried Twinks recipe yesterday, between my wife, son and myself we've managed to scoff the 24....so I've just put some more in.

    Thanks Twink
  • I joined MSE forums yesterday so that I can I could say "thanks a million" to Twinks for this recipe. They are without doubt the best biscuits I have ever made......absolutely amazing!
  • They are now a firm favourite in my house too! I use the everyday value flour and oats so also a very cheap treat

    thanks in advance :)
