These are very versatile, I don't see why not. I use up what we have as I make them every other week. I tend to melt a little dark chocolate just the cheapest stuff and drizzle over the top. They are delish.:DStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

I bought some of the Kellogg's Nutrigrain breakfast biscuits the other day, only because they were on offer and I had a coupon.
They were the honey and oats flavour and they tasted very similar to Twinks Hob Nobs.
I think I may blitz some oats and make them a lot thinner, hopefully they will then be just like the Nutri Grain ones.0 -
These hobnobs are the best! Have made lots lately! One day I didn't have quite enough spread so a bit of the mixture wouldn't come together and was still in little clumps. I cooked it separately in a tray and had it tonight on some cooked apple, so it was like apple crumble... yum!0

I've just had a thought. I always portioned the biscuits up, pre cooking, like a military operation. Any reason why I couldn't just spread thinly on a tray and cook as one and cut while still soft?Opinion on everything, knowledge of nothing.0

i have done the mix as a traybake but your idea might work0 -
Just had an idea.
Has anyone made these using Oats So Simple instead of plain oats?
I have lots of boxes as they are on offer so I stocked up on various flavours.
Blueberry and Apple
Honey and Almond
Golden Syrup
There are about 10 sachets in each box, 360g in total ie 14oz so more than enough to make Twinks.
I suppose you wouldn't need as much sugar as the packets are already sweetened.0 -
Mixture in oven as a traybake smells yum!
