Mine have kept for at least a week , maybe two ,can't remember when I made them now , and they are still fine. I keep them in an airtight box though not a tin.
Might make some today now they are in my head, and put nuts and chocolate in them :j.
I'm off to a friends this evening , might make some for them too.Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0 -
Doubtful as I expect their researchers are constantly making variations on their existing products in their labs day and night. This Twinks recipe isn't necessarily new and unique as I have precisely the same recipe in a cookbook first published in 1976 which they call "Butter-Oat Biscuits". Perhaps the manufacturers can now source golden syrup at the same price as sugar and that's the reason they're using it, who knows?0

Erm, it was a joke....0

the original recipe was from 1978 and they were called crunchies then, no matter if they put syrup in, the twinks are still better value for money0

Swear the boys to secrecy. Hubby need never know you made them and he won't know he missed out.
does that answer your question?!0 -

Haha i could try but my 2 year old isn't good at keeping secrets, he ran into the front room on fathers day with a nicely wrapped present for DH and said "Here you are daddy, its your new bag!"StayHome * StaySafe * BeKind0 -
