I've just measured all my ingredients and realised I have no bicarb, can I leave this out or use something else?0

These sound lovely, was thinking about making an addition of raisins to make them slightly different. I'll make some at the weekend and see what the verdict is0

First post, just registered!!
I've just made a batch of these for the second time, adding 100 grams of chocolate cut in pieces and I substituted the margarine for 223 gram of low fat plain yogurt and 223 grams of sunflower oil.
Baked for 12 minutes, delicious!!!0 -

Ah........twinks hob nobs.......I don't even really like biscuits , but I love these. I make them with butter as I don't like margarine. I will be trying them with nuts and cherries as that sounds nice too!
I bash them up with a rolling pin and sprinkle onto ice-cream.......Yummmm:)Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0 -
I would use Butter instead of margarine to avoid transfat acids and also to add flavour.

I've never had any long enough to go off.
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.
