  • I made some of these for the first time yesterday and they were lovely! Only did half the recipe though as wasn't sure if they would get eaten, I will definately do the full measurements next time!
  • Came across this via another thread! Thanks for the great recipe, just cooked my 1st batch of hobnob's and they are scrummy!

Now toying with the idea of melting chocolate and spreading it on!

Made these for the first time yesterday. Did half the batch as biscuits and the other half as a traybake and cut it up into squares (just to experiment!)

    They are very yummy!

Next time I'm definitely going to try drizzling chocolate over them! :EasterBun
  • I was really fed up this afternoon because of the rain and then thought of making Twink's Hobnobs. I'm all cheered up now!

What a good idea to do them as a traybake - it will make them even quicker.

    Hi all,

Just time for a quickie - can I make twinks with honey instead of syrup? If so what sort of result will I get, or is it more sensible to make flapjacks?

Please feel free to move or merge me afterwards, I've just not got time to go through the search results today!

    TIA xx

I used honey in my first batch because I didn't have any Golden Syrup in my store-cupboard and they came out brilliantly. I've used the syrup in subsequent batches and didn't notice any difference.
