Wow I have made these this morning and they are fab, I have scoffed two already and I'm not even hungry!

I put mine too close together on the tray though, I've had to cut them up..still I think Ive got even more now, can't be bad! x

  • I made three batches of HobNobs on Saturday: one with peanut butter, on with Nutella and the last from muesli rather than just the oats. What was odd that the peanut butter ones came out almost as they went in but the other two spread out on the baking-sheet and stuck together so didn't look quite as yummy and attractive but they tasted DIVINE!

I think that will be because peanut butter contains a starch, so it will be like adding more flour.

You can actually make peanut butter cookies from just peanut butter, eggs and sugar in equal qtys - just mix, dollop on baking sheets and bake - my kids started their cooking making these as they were so easy (although little ones might need a hand with the mixing as it can be quite stiff to start with)
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

BitterAndTwisted how much Nutella did you put in and did you melt it in with the butter? Thanks in advance :).
