thats great and they will taste even better with the right flourreduce the sugar a little if the biscuits are too sweet and well done on your success, my dd made some for comic relief at the boys school, she made them bigger and put a cherry on top before baking, about 18 from a batch and they sold out think she made a few batches

Got my first batch in and they look good! Just read the bit about them spreading and I haven't left much room, oh well, only had 2 small trays and filled them up a bit! Will let you know how they turn out. Thanks for the recipe Twink

Hello Twink,
Instead of using Bicarb I used baking powder by mistake. They tasted great.
Now I don't know whether to use it again or use the proper recipe.
What do you think the difference will be?To do is to be. Rousseau
To be is to do. Sartre
Do be do be do. Sinatra0 -
Hi again
I also used baking powder as no bicarb. Does anyone know what the difference is? Was going to post a separate thread but will see if anyone knows here.
Hobnobs merged into each other and filled the trays lol but who cares if they are a funny shape they taste great! Need some bigger baking trays really. I have a lovely box full but they keep calling to me.... and I am trying to leave them alone for tonight now
