It might be hard eating but for christmas I was thinking of making the biscuits into crumble and baking it this way. Then when it is cooked, mix melted chocolate in to it and shape into christmas pud shapes and decorate according.

might work but as you say you would need good teeth :D unless you made them mini puds to just pop in your mouth

Yeah mini puds would work I think, or may be a christmas cheese cake type thing. Use the hob nobs as the bicky base then make the cheese cake.

I halved the sugar and added raspberries today, they've turned out lovely. OH doesn't eat much fruit but likes raspberries so they've gone down a treat. Only thing was I was a bit worried about the colour for a while, mixture was a bit grey and then halfway through baking they turned green! Gave them a little longer and they went lovely and golden so all good. Also passed this recipe onto a friend as she liked the ones I made so much. Twink, at this rate these will be world famous biccies :)

I've been getting at least 30 from each mix, I made mine far too big the first time and they took ages to go golden! Find they're better quite small (also means, in theory, that we have a couple of biscuits either way but smaller ones are not as much sugar).

if you take as much mix as the size of a walnut shell or a little bigger and flatten on the tray you should get more, i got 45 last week and maybe adding so much syrup is making them burn more easily and yes nuts and raisins have been added but remember raisins will add sweetness

I get 40 from half the mix. They are about inch and a half across. OH has 2 or 3 biscuits with his cuppa no matter what size they are

Latest variation was adding 2 bananas that were about to get a bit overripe and some cinnamon. Turned out scrumptious. I have come to the conclusion that there is very little that can go wrong no matter what you seem to add. Must try the jam next time.
