Well i went wrong used 8oz everything and made 12 cunky larges ones and over cooked slighly but still nice and toddler loves them not sure if to add more sugar or syrup next time but ok for first attempt im just amazed what i can make out of what i got in cupboards at the moment.

dont think you need to add more sugar or syrup, glad your toddler likes them though

ZLs if you use the plain porage oats they dont have sugar in them so follow the recipe as normal

glad the splenda works, my dgs1 is diabetic and the hobnobs are good if he needs energy before sport etc

  • I've just made very simple oat crunchies - Porridge oats, demera sugar and butter... they are nice if I say so myself, and very easy to make!!

I shall be making these more often!

It might be hard eating but for christmas I was thinking of making the biscuits into crumble and baking it this way. Then when it is cooked, mix melted chocolate in to it and shape into christmas pud shapes and decorate according.
