Quick question - (not that I wanted to bump the thread and not be the only one stuffing her face with hobnobs!)

I forgot about the saucepan thing and mixed it all in together, what will happen??
    Thanks

 What did happen Ragz?

    Hi Twink

Big thanks to twink..... I've just made these this afternoon and they are amazing :T

I only read the first couple of pages of the thread before I started and then the last couple while they were in the oven........ it might have been a good idea to have read some more before cooking them though :o Mine are HUGE :rotfl: like big 'millies cookies'...... I only got 22 out of them and I think if I'd left them in the oven a couple of seconds longer they'd have morphed into ONE large cookie (didn't realise they'd spread as much as they did :rotfl: )

They're absolutely gorgeous though....... just huge!

Just tried to make these with gluten-free flour (adding some baking powder to make it "self-raising"). Not very successful I'm afraid ... they came out of the oven about the same size as they went in, but that's gluten-free flour for you!

The good news is they taste lovely and I put Splenda in instead of sugar (half the amount required) and honey instead of syrup.

    MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS
