We don't know what goes on behind closed doors and I don't want to speculate, but I do think her going home to put the children to bed is true. Her husband has very strict beliefs. It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0 -

Someone has been to villas abroad, and has suggested that villa as a place to hold a hen night, but also has a husband with strict religious views that means she can't go away for the night? Really?0 -

Fair enough if that's how they live their life but surely she would've thought of this before she agreed to go away? Why go along with it then spoil it for everyone if you know in your head you won't be able to go. She obv wanted to sabotage it for everyone.
Maybe I was jumping to conclusions about friend A, if she's a v considerate person and she did fork out £120 from her own bank. Does it seem like something she would do?0 -
Tell you something, if I was getting married and I had a mate who derailed my hen night to that extent, I wouldn't be tip toeing around her, Id be having my hen night where I wanted and a drink with them (assuming hubby allowed it!!!!!!) in my home town
Why was this woman ever invited in the first place if she has to be around to put her kids to bed?
I still cant make sense of this thread at all, if friend B is being such a !!!!!, then friend A should be told, regardless of whether it kicks off.
Do the rest of the friends know exactly whats been going on? Whats their view on all this?0 -

Has this just come to light, or was it known before the villa was booked.................because if it was known before the villa was booked then I would be going mad, because she should have never put her name down on the list to go.
And i'm surprised that she got her deposit back, we have booked loads of times through owners direct and all deposits are non refundable.0 -

The bride has possibly refunded people herself
I still think some talking needs to be done. Id actually be wary of accepting a refund from the bride if she paid it. Why should she have to?
Its the person who caused all this mess who should be stumping up0 -

Same here, I would be hopping mad....I would have to say something. Friend A might be a really nice person, not wanting to upset anyone etc, but I can't believe anyone would be that much of a walkover, I really can't.0
