So 10 of her friends are telling her how uncalled for her actions were and she listens to that one and ignore you all? Mmmm, I would rather upset the one difficult friend I have than the 10 lovely ones.

Im not sure Id want either of them as a friend to be honest. One putting the boot in and the other too nice to do anything about it but prepared to see another group of people out of pocket and inconvenienced

Id be kicking both of them to the kerb quite frankly

And after all this fuss, friend B isnt going to the hen night anyway as its in Blackpool even though it was her idea to go there?

So shes not going, but the original weekend away has been cancelled, why do you need to rearrange your plans if the friend isnt even going to the second weekend?

Whatever happened to going out for a meal and a few drinks to a local place the weekend before the wedding?

Why do brides / grooms now expect the rest of us to take leave and travel hundreds or thousands of miles and spend hard earned cash just to pander to them?

Because times change. It can be relatively cheap now to travel abroad for a couple of days so why not have a few days away and enjoy yourself?

I can't see why, when everyone agreed to go abroad in the first place, the bride is getting stick for planning a hen do abroad.

So would I, but at the same time I would opt to do something local so everyone could go and also arrange a weekend break to Amsterdam for whomever could make it.
It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun

I think this is an excellent question.

    And the answer is......?

I don't understand why she can't leave her children with her husband?? And why would she be able in that case be able to go to Blackpool just cos she can put them to bed - surely the husband can. It makes no sense. Either he's capable of looking after his own kids or if he's not (which is very bizarre) then why is she even leaving the house. Sounds like a lie.

Now I'm even more confused :o
What if the other 10 friends pulled out of Blackpool because of friend B, or what if one of the others didn't fancy Blackpool?
It's not an attack, I'm just wondering why friend B has so much influence on the whole event, unless there is some crucial info you have omitted?
    Are friend A+B gentetically related?

    I'm wondering that too.

I also agree with this, am wondering why friend B holds such sway over friend A and yet no-one else stands up and says hold on a minute ...
