Geez!! I have so many questions, I don't know where to start?!

1, If the deposits were non refundable, then why did Friend A then refund you from her own money? I mean why would you do that? I'd either be back on the phone trying to reinstate the booking, or giving Friend B a mouthful....which brings me on to question 2.

2, Why didn't you tell Frend A EXACTLY what Friend B had said, about how she'd cancelled it 'Just because she felt like it' and that Friend A's bloke will cheat etc? Doesn't she deserve to know? If you have told her and she still take Friend B's side, then it makes me think is she scared of her? Does she have a hold over her? Is Friend A a total walkover? If you haven't told her exactly what she said, then why on earth not? Friend A maybe does think its a genuine mistake, does she know the truth though?

3, Why doesn't Friend A say to Friend B 'Now look, you cancelled the hen night abroad, NOW you're not going to Blackpool either, this is my hen night, what on earth is going on?

I'm sure I have more, but can't think of them right now!

I don't think logic matters- either friend A is totally under the thumb of friend B ....or friend B is taking the blame for the bride not wanting a hen do abroad .

Either way I'd just leave em to get on with it-life is too short for such childish games.

Im more confused about why someone would have to drive back from Blackpool to put their kids to bed?? Why cant the husband do it?? Or is than an excuse by her?

Why dont the other 10 of you just go anyway and leave her behind?? I would.

How did friend B manage to cancel this whole thing? Are you sure its not friend A? Esp considering she has seemingly refunded £120 from her own pocket to everyone.

I have just read through and forgive me if I've got it wrong but it's very difficult to follow.

I don't quite understand the 'speaks volumes': someone has decided to pay you the deposit back (Friend A the softie maybe?) presumably out of their own pocket as it was non refundable. And now you've decided not to go at all, to Blackpool, to Europe, to anywhere!

Could it be that everyone else was relieved when the European trip got cancelled? Maybe the fact it happened yesterday is relevant as people didn't want to be paying out more today for flights. Maybe it was more than B who didn't want to go?

I'm still amazed that any tour operator let someone cancel who hadn't booked.

The obvious answer would have been to 'rebook' and carry on without B but it seems that it's all off now and you're not going anyway so nothing else to discuss.

It'll save you wasting money on a wedding outfit anyway.;)

When I said it speaks volumes I was referring to not being consulted on anything, so basically my thought's nor the other girls were taken on board.

The villa is not with a tour operator it private. Friend B told friend A and the rest of us about O*****s D*****t as she had been there herself and knew the owners.

As we were all given our money back I 've decided to pull out.

    1. I don't know.
    2. If she didn't believe the others why would she believe me?. I can't force her to see the real picture, childhood friends so nothing and no-one can say anything.
    3. Because friend A is too soft and only chooses to see the good in people.

Yes, there are a lot of plot holes here, its hard to know exactly what's really happened.
