Yes,sorry, that quota only applies for applications through brokers. Direct applications aren’t limited. A few brokers have spoken about it a couple of times in Facebook groups I’m in. They said that essentially the application channel opens up every morning at about 7.50 - 8 a.m. and the quota runs out within minutes. They’re advising lots of people to apply direct instead. 

Our broker did exactly this!
Told us to apply directly because it was ridiculous for brokers to submit applications with them at the moment.

hey, I am going with santander and I dont think they instruct a valuation if its a fail? I had my valuation on the 22nd june and still awaiting a decision.

My application was submitted with Santander on 29 May. I had mortgage agreed by underwriter last Tuesday (23rd June) and my valuation was not even booked at that point. It's booked for 9 July and my broker said the offer should come around 48 hours later! I think there was some mess up with mine though meaning that the valuation was not instructed as soon as it should have been. Will have been more than 6 weeks from application to offer!

Hi 
Is there anyone awaiting an offer from Nationwide. We've gone through our application submission June 10, valuation and valuation approval June 16, moreso additional information on deposit bank statement submission June 23 but its been a long wait expecting an offer. The wait is draining.
