Out Mortgage decision came through yesterday! Was not expecting it, as we'd had to reupload our Proof of Deposit the day before. Such a relief to have that confirmed.
    Congratulations. Received mine today :)

Feels good to have that hurdle over.

Hello, if NatWest tracker shows below, does it mean I need to take any action? I have opted for basic valuation which was free so not sure what to do other than waiting?

@vi009na - we had this when waiting for the survey - nothing for you to do. I contacted the EA to find out what date the valuation was booked for so I didn’t go stir crazy whilst waiting!  We also received an email from NatWest 24 hours later saying mortgage approved subject to valuation. We applied direct too so fingers crossed 🤞 it means the same for you x

Called EA and got confirmation, NatWest surveyor called and booked in valuation on 29th July.
One less to worry until then.

    Hi All
    Joining here.
    (halifax)
29/07/21- Hard and soft affordability check done.
    30/07/21 Valuation fee taken .

We have a slightly unusual employment set up as partner is basing it on his pay rise letter as of September . ( We have done this previously and been ok) . I am also term time only worker so I don't get a wage August as my hourly rate throughout the year adds on holiday pay which I save for the holidays .

Sick to my stomach EVERYDAY I am a worrier naturally so reading here to keep my mind occupied. X
    Good luck all X

We got our mortgage approved yesterday with Nationwide. We’ve had a long few years clearing debts and building income and I never thought we’d get here so very relieved at the moment!
House sale/purchase progress (we're selling our rental property and currently living in rented so no pressure to complete both on the same day).

2/6 - Accepted offer on our house.

15/6 - AIP in place with Halifax
18/6 - Offer accepted on our dream home!
    19/6 - Solicitors instructed
23/6 - Broker applied for AIP with Nationwide to allow us 23 years due to hubby's age - AIP referred!
    24/6 - AIP approved
5/7 - Full application finally in with Nationwide & valuation booked within 2 hours
    6/7 - Valuation
12-13/7 - Hard credit searches on both of us with TransUnion (Credit Karma)
    13/7 Hard search Equifax (ClearScore)
14/7 Proof of deposit requested in a different format
19/7 Gifted deposit form requested for non-sale part of the deposit - funds were from some inheritance, not gifted - deed of variation sent.
2/8 Text and email saying offer issued, details to follow in the post!

Well I am back here again. Had an offer accepted in April and a full mortgage offer with Coventry.  Seller pulled out last week as they no longer want to move and we have since found another property which had an offer accepted on Friday for 5k more than previous offer. Does anyone know will it be a full new app or can Coventry amend the mortgage offer to reflect the new property?

Good luck to everyone waiting for offers!

I would think it likely that you'd have to reapply. Mortgage offers are usually valid for 90 days. I've had one extended before when it was going to run out but we were within touching distance of completion. I think if you're back at the start of the journey they'll probably need you to do a new application.

The good news is that you know what to expect this time round and as long as your circumstances are pretty much the same, you're likely to be accepted again.
    Offer accepted: 19/7
    Mortgage application submitted: 29/7
    Searches ordered: 3/8
    Enquiries raised: 6/8
    Mortgage valuation: 9/8
    Mortgage offer: 17/8
    Searches back: 1/9
    Enquiries (finally) responded to: 16/9
Hoping to complete by the end of September.
