## April 2021 - DIP/AIP - Halifax i7
15 July 2021 - House - Offer Accepted
16 July 2021 - Completed Mortgage Application/ Hard Check/ Income Verified [Straight 2 Lender, Without Broker]
16 July 2021 - Paid for Home Buyers Survey; (Waiting for a date on the Survey)
One of the things that worry me, is the survey. I am hoping that the house is worth what it is being sold for. Especially since it has had most of the kitchen and bathroom done.
Here is to hoping and waiting.
(I have managed to do all of it without a broker, to cut a few corners and pinch a few pennies).
Don't think broker will do anything special unless complicated case.
Other that that they would delay in relaying communications from lender which will add 3-4 days extra in getting offer or decision 😂
Went through the pain. Lets see how it goes 2nd time. Atleast I have ref number now to verify with lender directly though went through new broker this time.
Thank you.
Finally received an email today that the Home Buyer's survey has been booked.
Conveyancing fee's seem to be never ending. I have even found out that both buyer and seller (we are both using the same firm) but different branches, and I hope that helps speed things up.
Just also received that my income and commitments have been complete too.
Just waiting on the survey now (due in two days).
I have been informed that the surveyor will call me tomorrow; if there is anything that I want them to extra look at, did anyone have any extra questions?
That's another bonus of saving £800+ on fees from the broker, I am literally the only go to between mortgage and conveyancer.
Thank you all.
Mine also submitted on 16th July, but looks like broker missed uploading bank statements and/or payslips. Chasing them to do that asap.
Survey date not yet populated on tracker.
I am pretty meticulous when it comes to documents. Trying to keep them all in folders on my PC and email if and when I need them (I guess it helps when not having a broker).
Thank you.
My full application, income, hard check and booking surveyor was done in all one day. Lucky.

But I saved 400 gbp by not going directly to NatWest... So i can wait 2-3 days more 😊
Also deal I got was not there with lender for 90% LTV so additional savings over 2 years.

Congratulations...Good luck for completion now.
I am still waiting for valuation date 😌
Also, broker didn't provide required doc by natwest yet. Hopefully by Friday EOD will get news about valuation date.0 -
Hello, if NatWest tracker shows below, does it mean I need to take any action? I have opted for basic valuation which was free so not sure what to do other than waiting?1
-
@vi009na - we had this when waiting for the survey - nothing for you to do. I contacted the EA to find out what date the valuation was booked for so I didn’t go stir crazy whilst waiting! We also received an email from NatWest 24 hours later saying mortgage approved subject to valuation. We applied direct too so fingers crossed 🤞 it means the same for you x1

Called EA and got confirmation, NatWest surveyor called and booked in valuation on 29th July.
One less to worry until then.1
