Just seen on the tracker our valuation has been now been assessed. No other requests or actions outstanding. I assume a decision is next.
Our valuation is being done tomorrow, do you know when yours was done?
    It was done yesterday.
    Any update ?

Hi - first time poster (and first time buyer too!),
Anyone else waiting for a decision from Nationwide? We submitted our application via a mortgage adviser last Friday (19th), and was informed that day it had been approved subject to valuation and receipt of Nationwide's gift form for our deposit. We sent everything over immediately but haven't heard anything from our adviser or Nationwide since. Our property developer (new build) said they had expected a valuation to be booked Monday/Tuesday this week but we have no idea if it was done! Anyone in the same boat?
Yes similar here, but yours seems to have moved on quicker. I checked with our broker yesterday and they said documents were still awaiting approval from Nationwide.

No it's head wreck. It's in a queue to be looked at by senior underwriter. The lead time was 2/3 days thats expired then it went 4/5 days thats expired. No need I can't believe I've to go through another weekend. Hopefully they come back to day.

    Hi everyone,
Lurker turned poster in the midst.
Just in case this puts anyone at ease- submitted FTB (90% LYV) application with HSBC on the 11th June, got offer pending valuation today. They rang today and asked if either of us had been financially impacted by COVID (we thankfully haven’t) and told we’d get a decision in 1-2 days. About an hour later we got the coveted text to say it had been approved.

Looks like things are getting faster :)
Hello, sorry for lurking on your post! we got our text from HSBC today with password at around 9am but still no email. I am worried they haven't got the right email address or did you experience a delay with them? Thanks in advance

We are in the same position. No update whatsoever and yet another weekend to feel on edge the whole time 😭

@templeofdoom I thought it would be a desktop valuation, fingers crossed it’s just delays due to the backlog of physical valuations they’re trying to get through.  The sales office for the development where I’m buying said that normally they’d look to exchange within 28 days, however they’ve extended this date by 2 weeks.  Definitely nail biting stuff!
It really is nerve racking, for us I feel like we have jumped through so many hoops and are on the home straight now!! Just think how relaxed and happy we will be once its all approved
Update: Paperwork sent to surveyors this morning for desktop valuation.
Hopefully, you'll have some good news shortly 🤞🏻

We are waiting on Nationwide too. They usually send out text alerts. Did you get one when they received your application? If you did you should get one as soon as the valuation is booked, we received a message last week about ours but did take them a few weeks to book it which was frustrating!!
  • Oh my goodness!
Received an update - offer approved! I’m elated  :D
Naturally, as many others have also found out at the moment, things took a little while, but got there in the end!
Good luck everyone else waiting on their offers.
