Anyone want to join me? Awaiting Mortgage decision...

Just had e.surv out to value our property on behalf of our purchaser, but still waiting on hearing when our valuation will be done on the house we're buying. Interestingly, she said that the mortgage company didn't require her to check the loft... I'd have thought the loft would have been one of the key areas to look at, given the potential for problems with the roof leading to overall structural isssues (not that we have any issues). She was also here for around 15 mins too...0

Ours says manual reffer to underwriter on the tracker, at the moment.0 -
Hi,
Submitted an application to HSBC yesterday, but unfortunately, had missed one of main expenditure on the form. It went to “Decision obtained” and full credit check, I tried updating it but there was a fatal error on the online application. So I rang customer services and was advised to submit a new application and first one would be cancelled. Did that and it’s gone to “Decision obtained” status again. Solicitor and valuation option provided, but as it’s a joint application, under “who’s applying”, it’s showing my husband’s status as “awaiting details”.We haven’t received any request to upload documents yet, I’m confused why it’s showing “Decision obtained” AND “Awaiting details”.
My husband is going to log in to check his details, in case something’s holding things up.
Why would it say “Decision obtained” at this stage?I can also see two hard search on my credit file from the two applications yesterday. So not sure what to make of it, as surely, no one has looked at our application that quickly?0 -

The details for the second applicant come through the post (we applied on a Thursday and they came on the Monday). The second applicant then has to ring and activate their details. Once that happened, our application went from decision obtained to application under review.

I'm using a MA, AIP through Halifax given on the 11th June, full application submitted on the 15th and paid valuation fee (hard search on CF that day). No other documentation has been requested other that what I provided to MA in advance of my application.
MA advised on the 18th that it all looked fine and application was now just subject to satisfactory valuation.
Anyone know how long Halifax are taking with scheduling valuations? (It's a new build not due for completion until Oct).
For me personally, this has been a long time coming and I'm trying not to get my hopes up - am I right in thinking that if there were any issues these would have been highlighted by now?1 -
We have instructed the solicitors to run the searches at the same time as our mortgage application is going through to speed things up. 3 of the 4 have come back already, just waiting on the Local Authority search but that can take up to 4 weeks apparently. We were hoping to move end of next month if possible. I was really anxious about the whole thing but once we got the "agreed subject to valuation" I've relaxed a lot. Of course, if I end up waiting weeks after the valuation that may change 😂. So far though each stage is going well and much quicker than I expected so I'm happy. The house is on my way to work so every now and then I detour past just to look at it and remind myself it's actually happening. Pretty sure the current owner thinks I'm stalking them!0
