Still waiting for any update at all from HSBC. No idea if they've booked or even done a valuation yet as a friend's was completely unaware they had done one digitally for her. Self-employed so hoping that is the only hold up. Application submitted May 1st, documents submitted 4th June, additional documents requested submitted 8th June and nothing since. Starting to get quite nervous now.

Some advice please, our valuation is booked for the 13th July. We did our application on the 18th June. From my calculations on the Santander for intermediary website, our case should be reviewed by the underwriting team tomorrow.

will we hear if it’s a fail before the valuation if it didn’t pass the underwriting stage?

And now just waiting! Our broker today has said they're waiting to review payslips. I haven't had the tracker details though so no idea where on the scale we are!

Nope, I feel like the world's worst client when I do it. Not because they make me feel like that, but because the waiting around for stuff to progress is something I find difficult to deal with. Hate not being in control of things, and will sleep a lot easier when I know the valuation has taken place, and the mortgage approved!

Your the same as me! Got off the phone to the broker in tears ... it’s horrendous I just feel so out of control x

Wow, that's making me worried now if going by your timeline and no update from HSBC yet? We've only just submitted all the documents today and was told by customer services, should get an update within 10 days. Your timeline suggests it's almost a month?  Our vendor wants to complete/exchange end of July.
