Congrats Luckyg
Today I have had some change on the natwest mortgage tracker finally. Weirdly they put notes on for each document they received this morning. Then they repeated the same notes again at lunch time. Not sure why they did that?? Any way it's driving me mad now. I just want to be put out of my misery now :rotfl:0 -
Ladyg, I know what you mean it's very stressful. With a bit of luck it will be all worth it and no need for a life purgatory on the welfare state :rotfl:0

Thank you toc25, I'm sure it won't be too long for you now.
The wait for the definitive answer is horrible, but it will be worth it.
Glad I took the risk and paid me solicitors to start the searches last Monday now0 -
My solicitors not me0

My boyfriend and I are FTB. We initially went with NatWest, who although were quite helpful, refused us at application stage because they couldn't find any proof of us paying rent and utility bills (we live with my in-laws), so they were doubtful we could pay them in our first house. How ridiculous. Would never recommend NatWest to any FTB!
Our mortgage broker has put us with Virgin and we have had a fairly smooth ride till now (touch wood). Our DIP was referred and looked at by an underwriter who approved it. Our supporting evidence has just gone in for the UW and the valuation has just been instructed. Does anyone know if this is looking promising, when the valuation is instructed?0 -
Hi all!
I applied with bank of ireland on 24/04/2017
Valuation 05/05/2017
Extra info 10//05/2017
All extra info sent by 12/05/2017
Referred to Head office for extra audit 12/05/2017
After waiting what felt like an age... mortgage offer 25/05/2017!!
Its been so long winded but not over yet as they've wrongly put freehold instead of leasehold... hoping its the last delay as we have to vacate our rental on 14/06/2017, never been as stressed and excited all at once!0 -
