    Hi All
I have been reading this thread for a while so thought I would join in ....

05/04/17 AIP Done and received with a soft check from RBS & Halifax on credit report (Experian)

*Offer made on property , cannot remember the exact date now seems so long ago!

*21/04/17 Full Mortgage App done with Halifax through Broker , Hard credit check done straight away (Experian states this check had negative impact on score and lowered my score from 999 to 992 so definitely a hard search.)

*21/04/17 Valuation/Survey fee taken by Halifax

Now the waiting begins ..... *Stressful times....*

Does anyone know if they will do another hard search which will lower my score further?...

If your application was in on 21st you should have heard yesterday? Might be worth dropping a call to the broker - or check on the MATS if you have your details.

I'm still waiting for the papers to drop through the letterbox...approved last Thu. I know, im impatient :(
  • We have the survey this morning from Colleys, I'm assuming that everything else is OK and that as long as the surveyor agrees with our offer

    Finally can finish my post

    3rd april: offer accepted
    13th: mortgage appointment NATWEST
Then it was Easter weekend so knew it would take a bit longer. 18th: Mortgage approve subject to valuation/valuation instructed.
29th: mortgage valuation finally carried out! ( must be busy in our area)
Another bank holiday!! So we wait...
Today 3rd of May Valuation accepted offer in the post!! Yay.

Can't fault Natwests approval process it was quick initially for underwriters etc, just the wait for the approval and actual of valuation dragged a bit! Now we wait for the solicitors!

FTB no chain and vendors moving to rental.
  • Here is our timeline so far

DIP from nationwide 18/4 ( we also have help to buy isa with them)
Offer on house accepted on 18/4
Appointment made for the 26/4 for full application

So excited as we love the house but nervous for full application , worrying i have made mistakes already

Happy to say my offer came through today so very quick process considering Monday was a bank holiday so -

    DIP 18/4
    Offer accepted 18/4
    full application 26/4
    documents received 28/4
    valuation text 28/4
valuation booked 3/5 ( new home report completed)
    offer made 3/5

Was so scared of this application due to cc debts of £4500 and partners loan £1998

Good Luck to everyone still going through the process
