Anyone want to join me? Awaiting Mortgage decision...

Hi All
I have been reading this thread for a while so thought I would join in ....
05/04/17 AIP Done and received with a soft check from RBS & Halifax on credit report (Experian)
*Offer made on property , cannot remember the exact date now seems so long ago!
*21/04/17 Full Mortgage App done with Halifax through Broker , Hard credit check done straight away (Experian states this check had negative impact on score and lowered my score from 999 to 992 so definitely a hard search.)
*21/04/17 Valuation/Survey fee taken by Halifax
Now the waiting begins ..... *Stressful times....*
Does anyone know if they will do another hard search which will lower my score further?...0 -
Anyone had Santander? Just wondering average times?

If your application was in on 21st you should have heard yesterday? Might be worth dropping a call to the broker - or check on the MATS if you have your details.

I'm still waiting for the papers to drop through the letterbox...approved last Thu. I know, im impatient0 -
We have the survey this morning from Colleys, I'm assuming that everything else is OK and that as long as the surveyor agrees with our offer0

Its with the Underwriters now......
Have been asked to get evidence of Child Benefit from HMRC.
Call HMRC to request a letter- advised yes of course but can take up to TWO WEEKS to get to me!!!
This is so stressful!!0 -

Another bank holiday!! So we wait...
Today 3rd of May Valuation accepted offer in the post!! Yay.
Can't fault Natwests approval process it was quick initially for underwriters etc, just the wait for the approval and actual of valuation dragged a bit! Now we wait for the solicitors!
