Had another email from our broker and NatWest have requested my bank statements (not my partners though) so I'm guessing they want to see my payments to credit cards etc. At least I'm hoping that's what it is.

I have the option of paying around £2.5k off my credit cards if needed thanks to family but I'd rather not go down that route. All my debt is interest free so I'd rather just pay it off as per my snowball but if needs must....stressful weekend coming up :(

  • My valuation was yesterday and broker advised they are happy with it and now it's with the offers team and should be out next week.

Not sure if this means it's done now or if there's still some uncertainty. Was hoping I would have a solid yes so not sure what to expect now?

Does anybody know what they offers team do?
  • Mortgage approved on Friday - offer should be hear today !:j

We got a text from Nationwide yesterday to say that they have issued an offer so just waiting to get the letter in the post. Most likely tomorrow. I can't believe how fast it's all gone through. We applied through our broker last Tuesday, had the valuation Friday and offer Monday!

Apparently Natwest had the wrong postcode for our new build so that has been updated and we now have another 3 working day wait for another update....all because of a postcode which was wrongly given by the site office of the new build

I'm at an early stage however I'm a FTB who is awaiting my AIP from the lender. They responded to my broker to highlight late payments on a credit card over 4.5 years ago while I was at University.

I'm praying that they let me off that stupidity whilst I wasn't in FT employment and can see my squeaky clean credit history since then whilst being FT employed.

    Everything crossed
