31/07 Submitted online with Nationwide
02/08 Uploaded all information requested
04/08 Valuation booked for 10/08
05/08 Nationwide declined due to me putting down childcare costs lower than on my tax credit form, I haven't had my new award notice so they have to use the previous income and childcare costs shown on that. They said I needed to go in branch as a longer term was needed and i'd need advise
10/08 Valuation done and ok (yay)
19/08 Resubmitted in branch consultant thinks no issues now and should hear this week.
30/08 Offer issued can finally re-mortgage and get the ex off happy days :j:j0 -

Thank you Bonfire Bride and very best of luck with your move.
In answer to your q, there aren't any others that we're interested in and I seem to have a knack of choosing 'problem' houses!! I'm not sure if it's Brexit or the time of year but there doesn't seem to be very many properties coming on the market here at the mo. The search continues!0 -
Found of yesterday my application is with the credit decisioning team *hyperventilates with nerves* and also that the person handling my case from the mortgage company went on holiday without informing me!!!!! *more hyperventilation*

Are you Natwest by any chance?
Our Broker said that Natwest have changed recently are started doing valuation alongside the review/underwriting. Our valuation fee was also taken the day after application, but they are still requesting documents, some of which were sent a week ago.
Waiting is killing me!0 -

Ah, that's dissapointing. Have you asked your broker for an update?
My broker advised that they take the valuation fee early. Going to try and hold off the survey until next week.
They still seem pretty fast though. fingers crossed for us both.0 -

Unfortunately our broker isn't the best! Took our broker fee twice accidentally, then we had to fight to get it back. Forgot to send our Help to Buy application despite telling us they had an automated response. Our initial documents were all provided by us last Monday, but she sent them across to Natwest in a file that was apparently too big, then went on holiday!
Been chasing for an update since Friday and still no reply to emails or calls, according to tracking site (I know it isn't that reliable) Natwest are still waiting for payslips we gave broker last Monday.
You submitted just after us, so I will let you know when/if we hear anything!0
