  • I wish I had applied online on Monday, I know 5 days is not a big deal and I'm hoping doing it face to face and having a contact will speed things up overall but Damn. Everything takes so long, 2 week wait on valuations :/ it's like waiting to take a pregnancy test!

Jelly box, off the market means it is not being marketed as open to offers, it does not show up on rightmove unless you include under offer and if it is in the estate agents window it will have a "sold subject to contract" sign, or something along those lines.

Eventually my mortgage approval has come through from my broker.
Started the process at the beginning of august and application was put through.

Survey and broker fee paid on the 6/8. Survey has been paid for and completed and just heard today that it has been approved. Phew!!

So all in all when you read some horror stories on here, not too bad in taking just over 3 weeks from application to agreement. And this is with Accord, 5 yr fixed, 2.99%.

Now to wait for my FTB to get sorted.

    Hi all,

We had the valuation for Nationwide today and have just received a text informing us the valuation was satisfactory and that we have a mortgage offer :j.

This will mean time from application to offer (via text) is two weeks one day.

Now on to my next worry- structural (buildings) survey!!

Good luck to everyone still waiting.
