Anyone want to join me? Awaiting Mortgage decision...

Congratulations to everyone who has had their offer come through.
We now have a date for our valuation - 30th Aug. This will be 2 weeks and 1 day after we put the mortgage application in.
Does anyone have any idea how quick Nationwide are at getting the valuation and making a decision?
Thanks0 -
Just had an email and my mortgage has been accepted too and the documents are coming through the post to me and my solicitor. Just local searches now to come back.0

Me and my husband got an agreement in principle with nationwide, going to see them on Friday to fill out the application.
I hope they are quick to do the valuation, but the guy said there was a delay atm. Very annoying.
I do hope nationwide are decent. I'm sooooo !!!! at waiting.0 -
Ok so I'm
03/08 AIP
16/08 offer accepted
23/08 application will be submitted.
I'm hoping that not having any kkind of homebuyers or structural survey done through nationwide will speed things up.0 -
Hi all, first time poster but long time lurker
Had a bit of a saga recently. Found a great rural property offer accepted at 150k even though valued at 166k :T got an instant aip from nationwide via ifa. Sent in a payslip for me and wifey along with bank statement showing rental from btl property. Looking for 90% ltv, nationwide would only give 85% as i have another property. Got aip from halifax same day with amazing rate of 1.94% via broker group deal
. Now i find out valuer who did home buyer report isnt on halifax panel. Got an "a" credit pass so halifax only want to see 1 payslip and tenancy agreement and to get another valuation from panel member. Sent supporting docs today and am speaking to sellers estate agency about the valuation. Feeling a little nervous though....need to see that formal offer before i get too excited

Still waiting, impatiently. We've have our AIP from Natwest, but waiting on OH's ID, turns out none of his was valid, so letter from HMRC is on its way! Just want things to be going now, the house is apparently "Off the market", but I don't know what that really means. So glad we're buying from a company (those building the New Build the previous owners are going to) as I don't think a family in a chain would be able to be so patient.
Maybe today the post will be filled with ID magic?0 -
ergh I feel sick.
Valuation was done Monday morning and confirmed on Tuesday at our sale price. Since then we have negotiated a 5k reduction and submitted this to the mortgage company yesterday.
My broker (who has been great) has said that there should not be any problems as they have all the evidence/documents to answer any or all of their queries..
Seller is getting twitchy
I hate waitingStarted saving January 2011
