Anyone want to join me? Awaiting Mortgage decision...

Is it normally for nationwide to request a document, tell you there is nothing else outstanding, take 4 days to process that and then request more document, take 4 days etc?
Getting very frustrated. My buyer wants to complete on 26th but obviously we can't until our mortgage offer comes through (everything else is done).0 -

Anyone have any experiences?0 -
After paying for valuation 2 weeks ago - and having to wait 2 weeks for the appoinment due today - the seller cancels the valuation. He cancels TODAY, no notice to valuations company. He had "some urgent business to attend to". Is he serious about selling?
I'm starting to get a bad feeling.0 -
Can I join you all?

My financial advisor submitted my full application on 13th Jan and i've been going out of my mind ever since, huge range of emotions from intense anxiety to excitement, and time is ticking sooo slowly. So no, you are not the only one, 'hieveryone' ;-)
Had a letter from Coventry building society (mortgage provider) this morning saying that they have instructed a valuer, and my accountant said he got contacted today for a reference, so things are moving, i just wanted everything all done yesterday, the suspense is killing me!0 -

I'm starting to get a bad feeling.
This would concern me, if I was selling and really had an emergency then I would try everything for someone else to be present in the property for the valuation. Of course it could really be that they couldn't get anyone. Make some enquiries with the EA/Solicitor for your own peace of mind.0 -
I just had another nosy at my credit file from Equifax and I am not showing as on the Electoral Roll for this year
Their FAQ's have some blurb about the Scottish system being updated, but that last years roll should still be valid - but mines is in red
I have emailed them to clarify, and my broker doesn't seem to think it will be a problem, but I am panicking!

i'm also panicking a bit now... Coventry BS wrote to my accountant for a reference asking for future projections of profit and my accountant has wrote back to them saying he doesn't do projections for my business so can't help.. i asked him if he could do them for the sake of the mortgage application but he said it'd take 2 weeks and he thinks they'll be fine with his reference as it is. eek.single parent, debt free apart from mortgage!

Evening all, I'm just starting out with a remortgage with Virgin to release equity for building work. Our DiP has been approved. Our mortgage broker will have my P60 by Monday and can push the paperwork through. Fingers crossed our survey goes wellApril 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500
