As there has been little information about applications with Leeds so far, here's our experience!;
11/12/14 - AIP via broker
16/12/14 - FMA via broker
31/12/14 - Leeds request more documentation to prove credit card cleared 2 months ago as still showing on credit record
5/1/15 - Survey instructed, and more documentation requested from us (proof of our address in 2012)
This is for a new build shared ownership property and our 28 day exchange deadline is up next week (will be extended, but we need to move beginning of Feb.) Fingers crossed...0 -

First Direct AIP in June, house found and lost in July/August. House purchase agreed in December.
15/12/2014 (Monday) - called FD. Told offer was no longer valid (as almost 6 months had passed). Booked mortgage interview.
17/12/2014 (Wednesday) - Mortgage Interview. AIP.
20/12/2014 (Saturday) - Application forms received in post.
22/12/2014 (Monday)- Signed forms and wage slips & bank statements posted.
31/12/2104 (Wednesday) - Agreed subject to valuation (via text)
03/01/2014 (Saturday) - text from Valuations agency; rung and paid for Homebuyers report.
Now nervously waiting for result of valuation - nothing else could stop this from happening right?
Update: More waiting required: just got email from EA that valuations company called looking to arrange appointment next Thursday (15/01). Is it normal to have to wait that long - anything I can do to have it done sooner?0 -
rawr finally after what seems a lifetime, have got given the mortgage decision, now onwards to the awaiting contracts to exchange0

Finally managed to get the last piece of evidence (or so I've been told that it's the last piece) uploaded to our nationwide mortgage application. Valuation was done before Christmas and came back ok. Anyone know what happens next?0

I'm going to my mortgage broker tomorrow to try and get a full mortgage offer and I'm absolutely terrified!
My timeline so far is as follows
08/12/14-AIP via broker with Santander
18/12/14-Offer accepted on property
20/12/14-FMA with broker
I am a chain free FTB and the property I'm trying to buy is also chain free.
As this is all so new to me I'm freaking out a bit! I really hope all goes ok with the full application!!!!Update:
06/01/15-Mortgage Accepted, subject to valuation
So happy that the mortgage was accepted! I was so worried about it all, being a first timer I had no idea what to expect.
We're pretty confident about the valuation as we know the previous buyer was buying with a mortgage too and it passed then and my offer is equal to the usual price in the area for a house in need of some work so there shouldn't be any issues hopefully.
My broker advised the valuation has already been instructed and should be booked in over the next 72 hours :T
Update:
08/01/15- Valuation complete and full mortgage offer issued.
Hopefully the survey went as well as I am hoping it would have, it's been sent in the post so I'm not sure yet what it will say.Paid off my debts, saved up my cash and now I'm finally buying my own home!0 -
31/12/14 - Offer accepted on house
06/01/15 - AIP with Platform declined
07/01/15 - AIP with Abbey approved!
09/01/15 - Sent FMA to Abbey this morning
Fingers crossed!0 -
I got an AIP approved with Coventry BS on Saturday and submitted the mortgage application through my broker yesterday.
I've had am email from my broker this morning to say that Coventry are now asking for more information and need me and my OH's P60's, having a little bit of a panic now as I'm not sure where I've put them! I have a vague memory of my boss handing me something but don't remember what I did with it.
Can P60's be reprinted if you lose them or is it hard to get hold of extra copies?0 -

From HMRC website:
Lost P60
If you've lost your P60 your employer can issue you with a duplicate - but this must be clearly marked as being so.0 -

That's brilliant, my valuation was yesterday and I'm just waiting on the report now. Not sure if they will be happy with the value so I will see. We have just lost our buyers though but have new ones who are ftbs, but waiting to hear if they can get their mortgage so very anxious at the moment as everything could fall through.
Amazing news about yours!0 -
Hi guys, my application to nationwide went in on Monday through broker, H2B 5 year fix. Just looked at my credit card statement and nationwide took £205 for valuation yesterday - is this a good sign?? Cheers, Tom0
