Anyone want to join me? Awaiting Mortgage decision...

This whole process is just far too stressful but its comforting that so many off us are in the same situation.
We have had offer accepted & had our DIP/AIP whatever you call it.
Solicitors instructed but just have such a fear that the mortgage offer wont come through!
All we can do is wait now0 -
Can I ask how long it took people from DIP stage to the actual offer?
Many thanks0 -
Nationwide
1st feb. DIP
2cnd feb. Full application submitted
3rd feb. Valuation was done, and all documents validated
4th feb. Full mortgage offer issued0 -
I'm going to get in on this too :-) Something to remind me to chill out a little bit.
Viewing: 27th Jan
Offer: 28th Jan
Offer accepted: 28th Jan
Mortgage broker: 2nd Feb
AIP: 5th Feb (all ok - phew)
Full mortgage application placed: 5th Feb
I have a feeling this whole house buying process is going to either teach me to be more patient, or get me even more stressed out. Not helped by my inability to resist looking at furniture and paint.
The solicitors have all the info they need from us so we're just having to roll with it now.
Exciting / nervewracking times! It will be worth it in the end0 -
I know what you mean goodwithsaving, the hardest bit for me is stopping myself from thinking about how to decorate - I can't help having montage daydreams about it all! Good luck to you.0

Okay, so I can finally join the mortgage decision club!
26th Jan - HTB Equity Loan application submitted
30th Jan - Authority to Proceed issued
30th Jan - Full application submitted with Nationwide
30th Jan - Nationwide contacts developer (New build) to arrange a valuation on Monday 2nd Feb
I'm surprised with how quickly this is moving already. I wasn't expecting the valuation to be arranged so quickly.
Let's hope everything else goes to plan
Valuation happened on the 2nd and I got the offer today on the 6th so a week!
I noticed that my offer is valid until the 3rd August so they may have made their decision on the 3rd.
Either way, I'm super happy!0 -
